Vauxhall Corsa Griffin Limited Edition

Vauxhall has released the Corsa Griffin: a new special edition model to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Luton’s big-selling supermini. From £11,695, it costs barely more than the entry level model, but adds a huge list of extra standard equipment.

The Griffin’s kit list includes air conditioning, a seven-inch touchscreen with satellite navigation, front fog lights, heated front seats and heated leather steering wheel, and automatic lights and wipers.

This means that the Griffin offers similar levels of equipment to the SE Nav, which like-for like is priced roughly £3,500 higher.

Both three and five door body styles are available, while the Griffin features a couple of unique styling tweaks to set it apart from the rest of the range Contrasting black paint is the major theme: all models get 16-inch alloy wheels finished in black, which match the black roof, door mirrors and front grille strip.

The exterior look is completed with tinted rear windows and Griffin badges on the front wings. Inside, there’s extra Griffin badging on the floor mats.

Power comes courtesy of a 1.4-litre petrol engine, available with either 74bhp or 89bhp. The units achieves a claimed 49.6mpg and emit 130g/km of carbon dioxide emissions.

The Corsa Griffin is available to order now.
