Nissan has introduced new limited edition versions of the X-Trail and Qashqai SUVs and the Micra supermini, all badged N-Tec and all positioned as high-specification versions of their respective model line-ups.
The Qashqai N-Tec is priced from £26,475, placing it between the N-Connecta and Tekna versions of the firm’s popular crossover. The N-Tec is defined by a new blacked out look, riding on all-black 19-inch wheels and featuring darkened LED headlights as standard.
Inside, the theme continues with black Alcantara seats. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility is standard, as is Nissan ProPILOT semi-autonomous driving assistance and parking assistance.

Similarly, the larger X-Trail N-Tec boasts a darkened look with black alloy wheels, gloss black finish on the roof rails and mirror caps, and a dark-chrome grille.
The door sill protectors gain illuminated N-Tec lettering, while ProPILOT is standard on versions equipped with an automatic gearbox, alongside Nissan’s Safety Shield package consisting of collision avoidance assists. Prices will be confirmed towards the end of January, with both five and seven seat N-Tec variants to be offered.
The Micra N-Tec will costs from £16,995 and is based heavily on the Acenta grade version of Nissan’s long-standing Ford Fiesta rival. 17-inch gloss black alloy wheels are fitted alongside additional gloss black exterior detailing.
Tech wise, satellite navigation is standard, as is Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Driver assistance features include a reversing camera and rear parking sensors, alongside emergency braking assistance too. All new Nissan N-Tec variants go on sale at the end of January.
