Alpine will debut two new versions of the A110 sports car at Geneva – the Pure and Legende editions.
Both versions are based around the same aluminium chassis but feature distinctive tweaks to widen the appeal of the Porsche 718 Cayman rival.
The Pure edition is the most driver-focused version of the A110; the weight of the model has been cut (although Alpine won’t say by how much) making it the lightest model in the range. Alpine says it's ‘destined to live its life on winding mountain roads’.
The Legende edition focuses more on refinement. Alpine has added six-way adjustable seats, full leather upholstery and a gloss-finished carbon fibre interior, making it ideal for ‘everyday driving or long distance touring’ according to the brand. On top of this, three new exterior colours have been added to the A110 range.
Both cars are powered by the same mid-mounted 252bhp 1.8-litre four-cylinder turbocharged engine, which is paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. Despite the tweaks inside and out, no performance upgrades have been given to either model.
