The new Toyota Yaris GR Sport has been unveiled ahead of its Paris Motor Show debut. Inspired by the hot Yaris GRMN, the GR Sport is said to feed “directly into an exciting new generation of GR-branded road-going cars”.
The Yaris GR Sport will be sold exclusively with the brand’s familiar 1.5-litre petrol-electric hybrid powertrain. All cars get GRMN-inspired modifications, including Sachs Performance shock absorbers and a solid anti-roll bar. All versions are 11mm lower than standard.

Visually, the GR Sport gets unique 17-inch alloy wheels and the same Bridgestone tyres as the GRMN car. There a bi-tone black roof and matching boot spoiler, as well as black mirrors, a black grille, and black fog light surrounds. The headlights are unique, too.
In addition, buyers can add red decals to the front lip spoiler, as well as the lower rear bumper. Dark privacy glass is standard.
Inside, the GR Sport gets branded seats and a three-spoke steering wheel from the GT 86 sports car. The dials boast special graphics, which light up when you switch the car on. There’s some satin chrome trim and a black headlining to complete the look.
Prices and exact UK specs will be announced after the car goes on show in Paris, while additional GR Sport models are expected to appear in the Toyota range at a later date.
