Audi has expanded the Q2 range with the addition of a new all-wheel-drive petrol option, using a turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine.
The new 2.0 TFSI quattro Q2 is the most powerful in the range for now – at least until the anticipated arrival of S Q2 and RS Q2 models further down the line. 187bhp is sent to the all-wheel-drive system via a seven-speed S tronic gearbox, meaning 0-62mph in 6.5 seconds and a top speed of 141mph.

In terms of fuel economy, Audi claims that the new 2.0 TFSI Q2 returns 44.8mpg on a combined run with 144g/km CO2, thanks to an ‘efficiency’ drive mode and a stop-start system.
The new drivetrain is available only on high spec S line and Edition #1 cars. That means LED headlights, LED interior lighting, an S line bodykit, S line interior styling with front sports seats, and 18-inch alloy wheels are included as standard. Satellite navigation, plus automatic headlights and wipers are also included. Edition #1 cars get larger 19-inch wheels, alongside a ‘black styling pack and unique interior trim.
The new addition to the Q2 range is available to order now, priced from £31,760.
